
BT BizBox is a simple to use "Business in a Box" solution aimed at small and medium sized businesses.
Users can create, search and edit customer details. Customer details capture customer name, company name, address, telephone number, type of customer (res, bus), payment terms, email address & DOB. Customers can be categorised to depending on the value they bring into the company . Against a customer there can be a behaviour flag which indicates whether the customer is gold, silver or bronze linking them to the value they bring. For each customer BT BizBox offers the ability to click to call and click to SMS, with the record of these transactions being recorded in the notes section of the account. On each account it clearly states when a customer was created and by whom, it also indicates when it was last modified. ^Top
The dashboard becomes an end users home page. It provides busy managers with an operational overview of the business at a glance. End users can view their meetings, tasks, notes and also record their internet bookmarks for knowledge sharing across the company. The dashboard provides links through to the company wide calendar and also a link to “today”. At the bottom of the dashboard there are scrolling quick links for each of the functional components in the application. ^Top
This is separate to the customer details section, all contacts made by the organisation can be recorded. For each contact the following information is recorded name, telephone & fax number, contact type, company name, associated with, job title, department, email address, D.O.B. time created & by whom, time modified & by whom. Contacts are broken down into categories example categories are friends, council, family, business associate, colleague, government authority, supplier and school. Users have the ability to create, edit , search and view contacts. BT BizBox also offers the ability to click to call and click to SMS for each contact, details of these transactions are recorded in the notes section or the account. ^Top
This is a company wide calendar showing a month at a time. It details for each day in terms of tasks scheduled (times, locations, owners), meetings to be held (subject, attendees, time, place and contact) and absenteeisms for employees whether they be through holidays or sickness. ^Top
Users can view, create and search for employees. The following details for each employee are held; employee name, job title, telephone, department , telephone & fax numbers, status - whether they are a current employee, conditions – full or part time, D.O.B. Email address, start date, created by whom & time, modified by whom & time, description. There are also separate tabs, financial information, which is used for payroll in terms of their bank details and salary information, qualification information, and an employee log for each transaction carried out on the employees account. ^Top
Reporting is available, example of the available reports are as follows; customers by category, employees by job type, holidays for employees by date range, contacts with missing date, employees with missing data, customers with missing data. End users can choose their favourite reports.

When a customer requests a quotation rather than providing it over the telephone BT BizBox records it so that any user can recall the details of the quote at any time. The BT BizBox provides the ability to provide multi line quotes for products and services.
When a quote is accepted by a customers an invoice is automatically create, which can be printed off and sent to a customer. Invoices can be recorded as paid and outstanding invoices are reported via the dashboard. Further developments are being made to the quoting and invoicing. ^Top
The tools of the CRM solution includes documentation management where users can store documentation for the whole organisation to view. The documentation can be broken down into department or category areas and permissions set on each of the folder so only authorised user can view the information. The help section provides access to the BT BizBox Blog and Discussion forums. ^Top
Meeting manager enables an end user to create and schedule meetings, times, locations, details and invitee attendees. The functionality also allows you to record notes from the meeting in real-time and assign tasks to attendees, which are then transferred to an individuals task list for monitoring. ^Top
